Bio

Enthusiasm, hard work and motivation are three key words to describe Joshua Chapman on set. Having grew up near the west coast of Auckland, New Zealand, Joshua finished high school with University Entrance. He spent four years abroad mainly in Europe, Asia and North America. He worked on many different Super Yachts as a deck hand to fund his travels. During these amazing years of his life, Josh picked up a Camera and fell in love with stills photography by documenting his travels. Joshua then excelled in Camera, Lighting and Audio at South Seas Film and Television School. Josh has worked mainly in the reality TV field as a camera assistant from 2021 until mid 2022 and currently junior camera operator/assistant. Mainly Josh uses Arri Amira, Sony FX6, Sony A7s3 + RS2, Sony FS7, Black Magic 12k. Josh also has a Nikon d850 stills camera with an Aquatech Elite housing. 2023 is the year that Josh wants to learn about other styles of shooting/assisting and meet new people in the industry. Josh also wants to combine his love for the ocean with his camera work and won't resist any opportunity to get in/under water and hopefully start ticking off his COC dives as a diving assistant for films and TV.

Josh loves getting out in nature, multi day hikes, fishing, free/scuba diving, spear fishing, kite surfing, surfing, travel.
