Bio
Samuel learned that he wanted to pursue a career in the film industry after competing in his high school's film festival with his friends. In 2018, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies at Victoria University of Wellington, during which he learned a lot of film theory and history. In 2019, he began a Diploma of Screen Production at South Seas Film School, specializing in Camera, Lighting and Audio, in order to build on his practical skills in a way that would help him move into the industry.
Samuel enjoys the collaborative aspects of film-making and enjoys making friends around the subject he is passionate about. From volunteering at film festivals, to working at a cinema, Samuel has an interest in all things film, and loves to be involved. After completing his studies, he wishes to step out into the industry and get stuck in to all the different jobs film-making has to offer.
